IMOTHEP Technical Workshop: One Step Forward Towards Hybrid-Electric Aircraft Concepts
Despite the challenges of web-based meetings, the IMOTHEP consortium has successfully concluded its first transversal technical workshop on 15 and 16 December. The collaborative format combined plenaries and splinter sessions for each target aircraft (regional and medium-range).
More than 70 attendees participated in the event, which enabled discussions, clarifications (in particular on technological assumptions) and actions to be taken in the next project phases, with the multidisciplinary design review ahead.
Horizontal topics were discussed for the four configurations at stake: general electric architecture, sizing of components, system performance but also, and more transversally, high voltage and power management, thermal management and safety analysis.
