Lift-off of IMOTHEP hybrid electric concept exploration
One of the main goal of the IMOTHEP project dedicated to hybrid electric propulsion is to build resilient, robust and innovative architectures.
These adjectives also apply to the designers involved in the project : depite the Covid-19 pandemic situation preventing from a on-site collaborative lab, the first Design Workshop of the project was held via webex in two sessions organized in April and May 2020. Connecting living rooms did enable a dynamic exchange and a fruitful validation of initial hypothesis : top level requirements, initial HEP assumptions, design degree of freedom of several regional and short-medium range aircraft concepts, reference concept for validation. On track for the conceptual design loop !
